ST. LOUIS, Mo. ( – On Thursday, the City of St. Louis’ Ways and Means Committee will meet to discuss the proposed stadium bill.

The hearing comes one day after representatives from St. Louis, Oakland and San Diego urged NFL officials not to relocate their respective teams to Los Angeles. During Wednesday’s meeting, an influential NFL owner said that a St. Louis stadium proposal which meets “the protocol for the NFL on relocation” would force the league to keep the Rams in St. Louis.

As questions mount in this ever-changing climate surrounding the relocation issue there are still not any solid answers.

Rams owner Stan Kroenke currently has a stadium project in Inglewood, California and the Raiders and Chargers have partnered on a project in Carson, California. The project in Carson got a big boost Wednesday when it was announced that Disney CEO Bob Iger agreed to lead the effort to build it.

League officials said each stadium plan still has issues that need to be settled.

A meeting in Dallas is currently set for December 3. It is possible the January application deadline could be moved up with an actual relocation vote coming as early as February, according to officials.

News 4 will be at the meeting and will provide updates online and on newscasts throughout the day.
