ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – The St. Louis Fire Department battled a blaze at a north St. Louis residence early Monday morning.

A two-story brick dwelling in the 6100 block of North Pointe caught fire shortly after 5:30 a.m. According to the home's owner, there was nobody living in the residence at the time of the blaze because it is currently undergoing renovations.

Skyzoom 4 was over the scene as firefighters battled the blaze.

When firefighters initiated extinguishing efforts, they encountered an issue with low water pressure in the area.

"Crews were having trouble getting enough water pressure on to the fire," said Captain Quincy Lunnie with the St. Louis Fire Department.

The cause of the fire is unknown.

There are no known injuries.
