ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – After a fatal crash on I-55 in February a St. Louis woman has turned herself in.

According to police, on February 5 Eileen Young, 31, began arguing with her boyfriend while traveling northbound on I-55. During the argument Young threatened to crash the vehicle on purpose.

She then proceeded to drive from the right lane into the center median flipping the vehicle.

One passenger, 60-year-old, Larry Wilson was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

During the initial investigation police recovered suspected cocaine and marijuana in Young’s vehicle.

The Traffic Safety Division and the Homicide Unit conducted a joint investigation following the crash.

A warrant was issued for Young on September 3 for first-degree involuntary manslaughter, three counts of third-degree assault, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana.

Young is being held on a $100,000 cash only bond.
