PACIFIC, Mo. (KMOV.com) –  Family members have identified the man that was fatally struck by a train in Pacific Wednesday night.

Around 10:49 Wednesday night, police received a call from the Union Pacific Railroad Company, informing them a person was hit by one of their trains heading westbound. The incident occurred at the south Olive Street train crossing.

Family members told News 4 the deceased man is 51-year-old Melvin Adams.
