CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A Cape Girardeau woman is in police custody after striking another woman in the head with a bat, according to police.

According to police, 59-year-old Larcene Robinson allegedly attacked an 18-year-old woman in the 500 block of South Benton Street.

When emergency crews arrived the victim was conscious and responsive, but complained of head pain and dizziness. No further details were given about the victims’ condition.

Robinson has been charged with two felonies, including second-degree assault and armed criminal action.

Bond has been set at $25,000, cash only.
