ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) - When law enforcement caught a St. Louis man with marijuana, he said he "is not smart".
A probable cause statement said Arondo J. Harris, 37, admitted to having marijuana April 10 and planning to sell it.
Court documents said Fed Ex contacted St. Ann police about a package they suspected contained marijuana. Officers watched the package arrive at Harris's neighbor's house. They said Harris then appeared, told his neighbor to put the package in his car, and Harris and the neighbor left in two different cars. Police said they stopped both cars, and Harris told them he uses his neighbor's house as a mailing address because he is "not smart".
Lab analysis confirmed the package contained marijuana. Harris also had a concealed firearm in the waistband of his pants. He is facing a Class B felony charge of committing possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute or sell.
