ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Two men were killed in separate shootings Monday in North St. Louis.

Homicide detectives was requested after Jeraldon Green, 25, of the 5300 block of Queens, was found with a fatal gunshot wound at Lillian and Arlington around 10:50 a.m Monday. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown and no arrests have been made.

About 2 miles away, Jamez Milton, 22, of the 6200 block of Lalite, was shot and killed in the 4400 block of Labadie around 4:00.

According to police, Milton died after being shot multiple times by an unknown suspect. 

The shootings add to what has been a violent year in St. Louis. So far in 2015, 146 homicides in St. Louis, nearing last years total of 159.
