ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A 30-year-old woman was shot and killed in an alley in north St. Louis Sunday morning.

Blake's mother said India left behind five children and said she can still picture the shooting scene. India was also pregnant with her sixth child.

"Her smile, me taking her kids over to see her on the weekends, or just being my daughter period," said Yvette Blake. "When I seen her laying there, blood everywhere, and a hole in her head, I can't close my eyes, I can't sleep."

A 33-year-old man was also shot at by the 64-year-old suspect, but was not injured. The suspect was located and taken into custody and according to police, warrants will be applied for.

Yvette told News 4 she knows exactly who is behind the shooting.

"It's the same person, you know for a fact, I mean its the same name. The same name steadily coming out of the same people's mouths," Yvette said.

Yvette said she hopes more people will speak to police when they have information on homicides.

The investigation is ongoing.
