WILDWOOD, Mo. (KMOV.com) – The St. Louis County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man they say disappeared after leaving a suicide note.

Daniel D. Lambert, 43, was seen in a maroon 1997 Ford Ranger with license plate number: 8WJ107. The car was last seen in the 2300 block of Forest Leaf Parkway in Wildwood, Missouri.

Lambert has been missing since 6:00 a.m. on September 8. That morning he left the suicide note and a map of Mark Twain Forest for Crawford and Washington Counties in his house before disappearing.

Sunday night, Lambert’s truck was found at a campsite in Mark Twain National Forrest. Authorities conducted an extensive search of the area that continued into Monday and Tuesday, but Lambert was not found.

Anyone with any information is asked to call their nearest law enforcement or the St. Louis County Police Department at 636-529-8225.
