Three children operating ATVs, pedestrian injured in crash

ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) - Three children operating ATVs and a pedestrian were injured in a crash Sunday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported around 11:35 a.m. Sunday, a 13-year-old from Festus was driving a 2002 Honda 400 on Wright Road south of Woodhill Drive in Lake Timberline when he collided with a 40-year-old pedestrian from Herculaneum, who was standing in the road.

A 14-year-old driving a 2006 Suzuki 400 then collided with Fenwick's ATV. Then a seven-year-old driving a third ATV collided with the second ATV.

The pedestrian was taken by air evac to the hospital with serious injuries.

The 14-year-old and seven-year-old were treated for moderate injuries. The 13-year-old received minor injuries which were also treated..
