ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A 20-year-old woman from Washington, Missouri was arrested after allegedly taking over $4,000 worth of DVD’s from a Eureka Walmart and selling them to obtain money to buy heroin.

Hannah Carson Rogers is accused of taking the DVD’s between July 4 and July 15 from the store located on Eureka Towne Center Drive.

According to police, Rogers took $4,840.45 worth of DVD’s by concealing them inside shopping bags. She was identified, police said, by the license plate of the car she was seen driving away from the scene in.

Court documents state that Rogers confessed to stealing the merchandise and selling the items to obtain money to purchase heroin.

Rogers is charged with stealing over $500. She is currently being held on a $10,000 bond.
