PHELPS COUNTY, MO (KMOV.com) – The search for a missing 13-year-old Phelps County boy is reignited once again with the assistance of a national group known as Justice in the Name Of.

Johnathan Shay went missing July 9 after walking with his 11-year-old cousin into the woods from a grandmother’s house. Shay's cousin was located July 10 near the Dry Fork Creek in St. James.

The volunteer group will be meeting at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, September 7. Volunteers are asked to meet at Scott’s Lodge St. James City Park.

The group will supply volunteers with four-wheelers, walkie-talkies, water, and food. A Facebook page has been set-up to detail any findings and help keep things organized.

According to website of Justice in the Name Of, their mission is to help give people in communities the viable resources they need and provide them with caring, compassionate advocates and volunteers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Central Communications at (573) 308-1213.
