3 injured during multiple overnight shootings in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Three people sustained injuries during separate shootings overnight throughout the St. Louis area. 

The first shooting happened around 11:16 p.m. near the intersection of North Kingshighway and Washington Avenue in west St. Louis. A 45-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the leg and was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Around 15 minutes later, a vehicle was hit with multiple bullets in the 1800 block of Chambers Road, near Dellwood.

Police said no one was injured during the “walk-by shooting.”

The third shooting occurred in the 4100 block of Labadie Avenue, in north St. Louis, around 1:40 a.m., police sources said.  

According to police, the man sustained a gunshot wound to the arm and a graze wound to the back of the head during an argument regarding drugs. He was transported to the hospital where he was listed in serious but stable condition.

Less than an hour later, a man from a prior shooting arrived at an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.

The victim told police he was sitting at a bus stop when a gray Ford Taurus pulled alongside him and a suspect fired several shots. The victim attempted to run but was struck by a bullet. When the man arrived at the hospital he was listed in stable condition.

All investigations are ongoing.
