MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO (KMOV.com) – The Maryland Heights Municipal Court has recalled warrants following recent legislation.

Judge Kevin R. Kelly conducted the recall on Wednesday. All warrants issued prior to Wednesday August 19 will be revoked.

According to a press release, the recalling of warrants does not mean that every failure to appear case is dismissed; instead individuals with outstanding warrants will not be jailed and may receive a summons in the mail with a new court date.

Judge Kelly also ordered that all current “failure to appear charges” be reviewed and failure to appear in court for traffic violation suspension be removed subject to future action.

If you do not receive a summons by October 1 the court asks that you call 314-291-6036.
