(KMOV.com) – A grief expert says shooting deaths involving children are the most difficult events for a community to overcome.

Jessica Myers, who works for the Crime Advocacy Center, said talking about how to move forward is very important.

“There are still a lot emotional wounds and I think we need to be talking about the mantle of help and the healing of our community, along with how to end the violence,” said Myers.
