(KMOV.com) -- St. Louis CrimeStoppers has received at least 25 tips with information connected to the homicide of 9-year-old Jamyla Bolden, but authorities said they still need more help identifying a suspect.

On August 18, Bolden was shot and killed while during her homework inside her home in the 9200 block of Ellison in Ferguson.

Lisa Pisciotta with CrimeStoppers said although most of the tips have been informative and thorough, police are still searching for the murder suspect.

Who submits the tip is not important, Pisciotta explained. Instead police said they are more interested in obtaining key pieces of information that will hopefully move the investigation forward.

The CrimeStoppers reward was recently increased to $8,265.

Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-866-371-8477.
