FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Funeral arrangements have been announced for a 9-year-old Ferguson girl who was fatally shot while doing homework last week.

Jamyla Bolden’s mother told News 4 visitation for her daughter will be held at the Layne Renaissance Chapel on Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. A second visitation will take place at Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m.

Bolden was doing her homework while in bed when she was shot by an unknown assailant around 9:30 p.m. on August 18. According to police, the bullets that struck the two came from outside of the home.

Ira DeWitt, wife of St. Louis Cardinals President Bill DeWitt III, announced on August 20 that she would pay for the funeral expenses.

No arrests have made, but police said they have received several tips in the case.

There is currently an $8,000 reward available to anyone who has information that leads to an arrest in the case.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-866-371-8477. Tips can be made anonymously.
