(KMOV.com) – A $8,265 reward is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest in the homicide of Jamyla Bolden, 9.
Bolden was shot and killed while doing homework in bed at her home in the 9200 block of Ellison Drive in Ferguson Tuesday. Her mother was also injured in the shooting.
Thursday night, police officers, activists, and family members gathered to remember Bolden. The officer who attempted to save her life, was at the rally, and was very emotional when asked about the shooting.
Police initially offered a $5,000 reward, but the Fraternal Order of Police have offered an additional $1,000 and an anonymous donation of $2,000 was donated Monday.
Another anonymous donation Tuesday increased the reward to $8,265.
