A series of car break-ins at Des Peres, Blue Bird and Queeny Parks have St. Louis County police sending out a warning.
Officer Shawn Mcguire said Queeny Park had a total of nine break-ins on Saturday alone."Every single one of those was valuables in plain view of the cars. The suspect or suspects smashed out windows and opened up car door to grab those items, Mcguire said.
He said the items stolen aren't cheap.
"Purses, really expensive electronics, GPS, cell phones MP3 players. Whatever you spend your money on those are targets," said Mcguire.Criminals are stealing items in plain sight so officers are asking the public to not leave valuables in the car.
Authorities have not made any arrests and do not have suspect descriptions.
