ST. LOUIS, Mo. ( – Police in north St. Louis and North County are searching for groups of people that were seen driving around with guns Tuesday night.

Around 8:30 p.m. police within the City of St. Louis were tracking a black 2001 Infiniti that had four men inside near Halls Ferry Circle. All of the men were armed with weapons, described by police as “long guns,” and wearing body armor, police said.

The same vehicle was spotted in Ferguson around 11:30 p.m., according to police.

Shortly after, police in Country Club Hills requested help locating a black SUV in relation to a “shots fired” call.  The suspect vehicle was last spotted at Emma and Riverview, near Calvary Cemetery.

No injuries were reported but at least one of the suspects is believed to have fired shots.

Authorities have said if the incidents were connected.
