ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms across the News 4 viewing area throughout the day Wednesday into Wednesday night. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the southern half of the area through 4:00 a.m. Thursday.

Through late Wednesday morning, temperatures will be in the mid-70s. It will be humid, with scattered downpours and isolated thunderstorms. Watch for torrential rainfall and frequent lightning.

We’ll deal with on and off rain and thunderstorms through the afternoon and evening. Thanks to clouds and showers, high temperatures will stay close to 80 on Wednesday. Rain will be heavy at times into the night.

The chance for showers and storms will shift east of the Metro by the Thursday morning drive. Thursday afternoon will be mostly cloudy with highs in the low to mid-80s.
