ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

City of St. Louis voters will decide on the $180 million bond issue at the polls on Tuesday.

City leaders said a chunk of money would go to the fire department to repair old fire houses and 25-year-old equipment.

"It wears on you if you're thinking, 'Is my pump going to make it to the scene?' If I'm inside a building and I've got five, six, seven firefighters inside a building fighting fire... is that pump going to last, or is it all going to fail at the wrong time?" said Chief Dennis Jenkerson of the St. Louis Fire Department.

The bill must receive a two-thirds majority vote in order to pass.

A full list of where the money will go can be found at the City of St. Louis website.
