Section of Route 94 closes for two months starting Monday

Posted: Updated:

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO (KMOV.com) – Starting today the Missouri Department of Transportation will close a section of Route 94 in St. Charles County.

Road crews will close Route 94 just west of Terry Road starting Monday at 7 a.m. The closure is due to flooding issues in the area from the Missouri River. MoDOT plans to raise the height of the road by more than three feet.

The closure was originally scheduled to begin last month, but was postponed due to flooding throughout the area. Motorists are encouraged to take Route F to Schluersberg to get around the closure.
