UNINCORPORATED NORTH COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- A man was shot during an armed robbery in unincorporated North County Wednesday night.

Around 11:45 p.m., four people were sitting in a parked 1999 Saturn in the 10100 block of Cloverdale Drive when three suspects in a green, four-door sedan pulled up alongside them. According to authorities, the suspects got out of their vehicle, ordered everyone out of the Saturn and began stealing the victims possessions.

During the robbery, one of the victims was shot in the torso. The injured man ran from the scene and stopped in the 1000 block of Green Valley. The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, authorities said.

After the shooting, the suspects left in the victims’ vehicle.

No information regarding suspects has been released.
