WARREN COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) A snake believed to have killed and eaten dogs and chickens in rural Jonesburg, Missouri was shot and killed.

The Burmese Python, weighing more than 100 pounds and over 14 feet long, was on the loose for several days before a resident shot it.

Neighbors told the Warren County Record they believe the owner could not handle the snake and let it loose.
