An indictment returned last week charged 32-year-old St. Louis man Ronald Terry with three counts of heroin distribution.

The indictment alleges Terry distributed heroin between July 2 and July 8, 2015 in St. Clair County and the charges were announced by United States Attorney of the Southern District of Illinois Stephen R. Wigginton on Wednesday.

Each of the three counts Terry was charged with carry a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, a $1,000,000 fine and three years of supervision following release from prison.
