Police seek help locating suspect seen on surveillance video fatally shooting man

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for help locating a suspect seen on surveillance video fatally shooting a man Sunday morning.

According to police, Marco Warren, 19, was attempting to rob three people, a man and two women, in the 500 block of North 13th Street when a struggle over his gun ensued between him and one of the suspects. When the struggle began, two of the victims ran from the scene to find a police officer.

During the struggle, an unknown suspect emerged from North 13th and St. Charles and began shooting at Warren and the 32-year-old man he was struggling with.

Warren died after sustaining gunshot wounds to the head and torso.  The 32-year-old was struck in the shoulder and taken to the hospital in stable condition.

It is unknown if the shooter knew Warren.
