Three robberies occur in south St. Louis overnight

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Three robberies took place within a three-hour time period overnight in south St. Louis.

The first robbery happened around 12:11 Tuesday morning outside the Stella Blues Bar, located in the 3200 block of Morgan Ford Road. Two men armed with guns robbed a boyfriend and girlfriend outside of the bar. Authorities said the robbers demanded her purse and the boyfriend and a gunman struggled before the robbers ran and dropped a gun that wasn't loaded.

Less than an hour later, the second robbery took place in the 2200 block of Gravois Avenue. Around 12:53 a.m., a man was walking home when he was approached by an armed suspect. The suspect took the victim’s wallet and fled the scene.

Around 3:06 a.m., a man was walking home from a friend’s house in the 3600 block of Montana Street when he passed multiple suspects. The victim heard the suspects come from behind him. While one suspect held the victim at gunpoint, another looked through his pockets and grabbed his cell phone and wallet.

No injuries were reported in any of the robberies.

No suspect descriptions have been released.

All three investigations are ongoing.
