4 sustain injuries in 3 separate stabbings on Sunday

Four victims were injured in three separate stabbings throughout the day on Sunday and two suspects were taken into custody.

The first incident occurred just after 7 a.m. in the 3400 block of Miami in south St. Louis.

Police said three men were sitting in the front room of a home when a suspect came into the residence and began yelling at the victims about stolen drugs. The suspect then threatened the victims with a knife, allegedly cutting one of the victims on the arm.

The suspect then reportedly chased another victim to the street and punched him multiple times, authorities said. The suspect was taken into custody at the scene.

At approximately 5 p.m. on Sunday in the 4100 block of Obear near Fairground Park, two men were arguing when the suspect produced a knife and allegedly stabbed the victim in the torso.

Officials said the suspect, who the victim knows by a nickname, fled on foot from the scene. Police have identified the suspect and listed him as wanted.

The victim was taken to the hospital and was listed as stable.

After 6:40 p.m. in the 3100 block of Gravois, an 18-year-old female victim was found with multiple stab wounds to her upper body and arm. She was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition.

The suspect, who is an individual known to the victim, was found and taken into custody by police near Compton and Utah.

All of the investigations are ongoing.
