HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBMF) - The Horry County Sheriff's Office has more than 22,000 suspects on the run. Sometimes those suspects turn themselves in once being featured on the news, other times it takes tips from authorities to catch them.
Michael Holt, 44, is wanted for failure to appear for child support. That may not seem like a major crime to some of you, but the sheriff's office says they only send WMBF News the names of individuals who typically owe more than $5,000. Holt's last known address is on Janette Street in Conway.
Marcus Allen Canady, 48, is wanted for failure to appear for second-degree burglary. According to the Horry County Police report, the Cedar Branch Baptist Church in Loris was broken into back on July 14, 2014. Video recordings show three men stealing a VCR and DVD box, according to the report.
Canady was identified as one of those men. His last known address is on 19th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach.
James Jackson Junior is wanted for failure to appear for strong armed robbery. The Myrtle Beach Police report says that on February 28, 2015, officers responded to the Rainbow Court Motel located at 411 Ocean Boulevard. The victim says he was approached by Jackson and asked if he could give him a cigarette. From there, the report says Jackson followed the victim back to the his motel room, hit him in the face and tried to choke him before running off with $145 in cash, a laptop and an iPad. Jackson's last known address is on Foxburrough Road in Marion.
