ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -  A $10,000 reward is being offered for anyone who has information that will lead to an arrest in the murder of a St. Louis Alderman's nephew.

The nephew of Ward 22 Alderman Jeffrey Boyd was shot and killed in a double shooting that occurred in north St. Louis Monday night.

Police said two people were hit by gunfire and two others were shot at in the 5800 block of Lotus around 7:30 p.m.

Boyd's nephew, 23-year-old Rashad Farmer of Moline Acres, was fatally shot in the chest. Farmer was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 32-year-old male victim was shot in the foot. He told police he was standing in front of a home when he heard gunshots and was struck.

Two other victims were in a parked vehicle when their vehicle sustained ballistic damage, but they were not hit.

"It's sad and sickening. Some people might say 'Oh it happened to him, now he's frustrated," Boyd said. "I've been frustrated for years. I'm frustrated for everyone who's lost a loved one in this neighborhood, but this is my nephew, it does hit home and I do have a right to speak out. I'm speaking out in a way to plead to young people 'Please put the guns down!'

Police said the second victim limped to a nearby house and called police. He was taken to a hospital and is expected to be okay.

If you have any information that lead to an arrest, please call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477). Police and Farmer's family are each offering a $5,000 reward.
