(CNN/KMOV.com) – How would you like to stare at a stranger for your entire next flight?
A patent filed by the French company ‘Zodiac Seats’ shows a new space-saving seat design would put passengers in the same row facing opposite directions. The seats would flip up when passengers stand, like a movie theater seat.
A study shows the alignment could increase the number of passengers on a Boeing 767 by up to 80 people.
This is just a design in a patent filing so your next flight will have the straight rows.
