Police arrested two men accused of robbing a couple at gunpoint in the Delmar Loop Monday.

Authorities said Michael Thompson, 27, and Michael Farmer, 50, approached a couple sitting inside a car parked at a post office in the Delmar Loop.

The suspects then allegedly stole the couple's valuables at gunpoint and took off.

University City police reportedly caught Thompson and Farmer minutes after the two fled the crime scene.

Both suspects face felony charges, including armed robbery, armed criminal action, and resisting arrest.

The couple was not injured.
