NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV.com) -

An employee at a North County nursing home is facing charges for allegedly trying to rape a co-worker while on the job.

Molokai McClenton, 35, is charged with one count of first degree rape or attempted rape, two counts of sodomy or attempted sodomy, and one count of first degree sexual abuse.

According to authorities, McClenton was at work at the Green Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center when he isolated a co-worker, physically overpowered and attempted to rape her. Police do not believe any patients at the nursing home were sexually assaulted.

McClenton is being held in the St. Louis County Jail on a $100,000 cash only bond.
