JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Emergency officials found two bodies in Jefferson County hours after flooding swept through the area.

According to authorities, the bodies were found near Buck Creek. The first body was found just before noon. The second body was also found along the creek, but was located close to Harrison Lake.

Authorities identified the first victim as 35-year-old Sarah K. Barrett of De Soto. Her vehicle has not been located.

The second victim is Angela Kirby, 50, of Festus. Kirby's GMC Safari was found Thursday around 6 p.m. 

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, there are currently more people missing from the overnight floods.
