JENNINGS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Police said they have one suspect in custody and are working to find other suspects after numerous shots were fired and a bullet hit a Jennings home.

Between 20 and 30 shell casings from a semi-automatic weapon were recovered after the Tuesday night shooting.

"When I heard that bullet pierce through the window, I immediately dropped to the floor and I was struggling to get to the phone to call 911, because it happened so fast," said Bonnie Turner.

Turner, who said she has impaired vision, heard a bullet come through her front window but did not see it.

"The sound was so intense and loud. The only thing I felt was my heart go into my stomach, I was so nervous," said Turner. "You know you are scared, but you don't know, is it a home invasion? Or someone out there, just having a confrontation?"

Turner lives on a fixed income and is worried she will not be able to find the money to repair the window shattered by the bullet.

St. Louis County Police said they believe the shooting was related to a dispute between neighbors.
The investigation is ongoing.
