A St. Louis woman is in custody months after she reportedly stole over $900 worth of fragrance from ULTA Beauty in Florissant.

Police said 34-year-old Sheron A. Felton took eleven bottles of perfume from ULTA in December 2014.

In December, an ULTA employee heard a sound of something being unwrapped and saw Felton in the fragrance section of the store. The employee then noticed Felton allegedly hiding a bottle of perfume in her armpit.

The employee said Felton told her she was going to pay for the perfume, but then tried to leave the store without paying. At the door, Felton handed the bottle to the store employee.

After Felton left the store, the employee wrote down the license plate number from Felton's car and store employees discovered that eleven bottles of fragrance were missing.

Surveillance video from the store showed Felton concealing perfume bottles in her purse.

From the license plate number, which was from a rental car, police were able to track down Felton.

Felton was charged with one felony count of stealing and her bond was set at $7,500.
