88-year-old killed in car crash in Earlville, Illinois

EARLVILLE, Illinois (KMOV.com) – An 88-year-old was killed in a car accident after his vehicle and another driver collided on northbound Highway 67 around 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning.

Police say 88-year-old Earl Todd was attempting to make a left turn and traveled into the path of 58-year-old Sherman Riddle who was also traveling northbound.

Todd was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Sherman sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. A second passenger, Nila Riddle, was in the vehicle with Sherman. She sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
