An entrepreneur created a computer programming boot camp, after experiencing some trouble filling positions for his tech startup.
Ola Ayeni moved his entire company to St. Louis with plans to grow his business, but said he could not find many qualified applicants to fill the company's job openings.
He then founded Claim Academy, a 12-week program that helps prepare students for jobs in the tech industry.
"We can train them here, get them ready, put them in jobs in our own community," said Ayeni. "Then we become that tech hub we want to be."
Ayeni said students can also apply for scholarships to help them pay for the $8,000 tuition.
