(KMOV.com) – A St. Peters woman received a suspended sentence for giving alcohol to her daughter and the daughter's friend.

Latasha Gorman pleaded no contest to a child endangerment charge. Gorman, 36, was accused of giving a bottle of vodka to her 14-year-old daughter and the daughter's 13-year-old friend in September 2013. Police said the 13-year-old was taken to a hospital for alcohol poisoning.

Part of Gorman's plea deal includes five years of probation, regular alcohol testing, not being allowed to enter a bar, and supervision when she is around her daughter.
