FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Monday night's Ferguson Commission meeting will be a safe-space for those grieving in the community to speak out.

The Ferguson Commission was organized in the wake of Michael Brown's shooting death to address issues in the Ferguson area but Monday the commission will process and reflect on violent incidents elsewhere.

Monday night's meeting was scheduled to feature a presentation from a group from Cincinnati known for utilizing an effective model for citizen-law enforcement relations. The group decided to stay in their hometown after a police officer and citizen were killed in a deadly shooting last week.

During the meeting, small group breakout sessions will take place for those grieving in the community.

The meeting will take place from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the St. Louis Community College-Meramec.
