Two children found safe after alert issued for their disappearance
CANTON, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- The Missouri Highway Patrol says they have found the two children who went missing early Sunday morning.
Draven Tate, 8, and Zack Tate, 6, were last seen in Hannibal, Mo. in a silver 2001 Chevrolet Impala with a license plate KJ2M8H at approximately 3:15 a.m. They were found Sunday afternoon.
The possible suspect is believed to be Kyle Tate, 28. Kyle Tate is 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Kyle Tate was reported to have been armed with a firearm and was involved in a domestic disturbance involving a weapon in Canton. He has made threats to harm himself and the children and also has made threats towards their mothers in Hannibal and Clinton, Okla. It is believed that Tate had been en route to Clinton.
