FLORISSANT, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

St. Louis County police said an 18-year-old man was arrested for burglarizing a Florissant home and assaulting the female owner Wednesday.

Cameron Lovejoy faces multiple felony charges for allegedly invading a home and stealing several items, including the homeowner's purse.

According to charging documents, Lovejoy tied up the victim with a phone cord during the burglary. He then allegedly punched, choked, and threatened to shoot her.

Police said others helped Lovejoy carry out this crime, and they are working to find the other suspects.
