SULLIVAN, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Two GoFundMe pages were created to help a Sullivan, Missouri family after a father and son died days apart.

John Lyons, 60, drowned Tuesday night after his vehicle became stuck in water on Hamilton Hollow Road at the edge of Meramec State Park.

The company Lyons worked for, Turn Key Tool & Die Inc., created a GoFundMe page and organized a food drive to help his wife and daughter after his death.

According to family members, 20 days before Lyons' death, his son, Jason Stewart, 38, was killed in a head-on accident.

Family members told News 4 that Lyons' wife now has no way to get around because both of the family's vehicles were totaled in the accidents.

Lyons' family has also created a GoFundMe page to help with funeral expenses.
