ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Joe Buck is the voice behind primetime sports telecasts. Now, he is the voice behind the efforts to keep the Rams in St. Louis.

In the latest video renderings of the proposed riverfront stadium, Buck's voice can be heard narrating the project's importance to the local economy as well as local sports fans.

The new video, released by the architecture firm HOK on Monday, begins with Buck's voice.

“Hi, I'm Joe Buck and I'm from St. Louis, home of the St. Louis Rams,” Buck says.

He continues by saying how rich a history St. Louis has, not only as a “quintessential” piece to America, but as a sports city. Buck says the fans make St. Louis a great baseball city, a great hockey city and “by every measure, a great football city.”

In the video, Buck says the riverfront stadium, as well as the revitalization of the area near there, is essential to the city and this is the city's opportunity.

The proposed plan will include 38.5 acres of new public, open space, eight acres of natural habitat as well as one and a half miles of new trails leading to the heart of the city.

The video also reveals the diversity of the stadium's uses which could include hosting a Major League Soccer team, concerts and live events.

In January, Rams' owner Stan Kroenke announced his plans to build a privately, 80,000-seat stadium in Los Angeles. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced shortly after that no NFL team would be making any plans to move until after the 2015 season.

NFL owners will meet in August and discuss possible relocation of Oakland, St. Louis or San Diego to Los Angeles and get updates on each city's effort to keep their teams in their respective cities.
