Man stabbed, robbed in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. ( – A 45-year-old man is in the hospital after being stabbed then robbed in north St. Louis early Thursday morning.

The incident took place around 12:09 a.m. at Goodfellow Boulevard and Lillian Avenue.

According to police, the suspect approached the victim and asked to borrow money.

When the victim replied that he did not have any, the suspect stabbed him in the face and wrist.

The suspect ran from the scene after stealing $15 from the victim.

The victim sustained minor cuts to the wrist and face and was taken to the hospital where he is in stable condition.

The suspect is an individual known to the victim by an unreleased nickname.

Police described the suspect 43-45 years old, five foot nine or five foot ten inches tall and between 180 and 190 pounds.

The investigation is ongoing.
