ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A police pursuit ended when fleeing suspects crashed a stolen vehicle in north St. Louis Wednesday night.

A maroon station wagon was allegedly taken during a carjacking around 9:40 p.m. from the 5100 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Drive. There were three suspects inside the stolen vehicle when the police chase began.

The chase ended roughly a mile away from the scene of the theft when the vehicle crashed in the 5900 block of Martin Luther King Drive, near Hamilton. All three suspects were arrested by police after the crash.

The only injury sustained during the incident was to an officer, who was taken to the hospital with a minor injury to the hand.

Authorities have not released any further information about the investigation.
