ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A Bridgeton woman is facing charges after being accused of hitting three different vehicles while intoxicated in October.

Kimberly Marie Thompson, 45, struck the occupied vehicles on St. Charles Rock Road near Harmony, causing at least $2,000 worth of damages on October 13, police said.

According to authorities, Thompson collided with the first vehicle and continued driving, striking two more vehicles and leaving the accident scenes.

The four occupants of the second vehicle she allegedly struck all sought medical attention for pain.

When officers stopped Thompson's vehicle, they said she was displaying signs of intoxication, including slurred speech and the strong odor of alcohol. Police said Thompson performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Thompson is charged with four counts of driving while intoxicated and three counts of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.
