ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Charges have been dropped against a St. Louis woman who allegedly set her dog on fire and bragged about the death on social media.

The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's office said charges were dropped due to issues of securing key testimony.

Adrienne Martin was arrested and charged with felony animal abuse in 2013 after reportedly burning a dog named Brownie in the backyard of her north St. Louis home. She then allegedly posted graphic remarks about the killing on Facebook.

Prosecutors said they could still seek charges if they get new testimony.
