A convicted drug dealer and manufacturer in the Metro East learned his fate this week.
Sammy R. Holliday, 43, was sentenced to 151 months in federal prison for methamphetamine distribution.
Holliday has an extensive criminal record. After serving five years in an Illinois state prison for manufacturing meth, Holliday committed federal offenses one month after his release.
He and another man sold meth to a DEA informant on three separate occasions in September and October 2014, prosecutors said. Holliday was placed in federal custody on November 5, 2014.
